Lavazza Group is seeking for a **Food Contact Compliance Specialist** to join our team **R&D Department** . The successful candidate will oversee daily operations and projects related to Food Contact Compliance.

The candidate will be part of the Food Contact Compliance team under the **Packaging and Materials Department** , determining the compliance status of packaging and packaging materials intended for contact with food, in accordance with global legislation and company requirements.

**What you'll be doing:**
* Evaluation of suppliers' documents and documental compliance
* Drafting of analytical plans to predict the affinity of some substances to food and verifying the compliance of the final pack (overall migrations, specific migrations, set-off effect, risk assessment and sensory evaluation)
* Elaborating documents related to projects; Food Contact Compliance packaging specifications, final reports of compliance status, summary presentation of FCC status
* Working closely with internal stakeholders (Regulatory, Packaging, Project Lead, Quality, etc.) and external stakeholders (suppliers, partner laboratories, etc.) through effective communication, meetings and supplier visits
* Proposing a FCC solid approach and solutions related to different scenarios: type of project (new packaging and review of existing packaging), budget assigned, substances that could emerge during the assessment, previous data

**To be successful in this role you'll need to have:**
* A degree in Food Science, Chemistry or related field
* 1 to 2 years of experience in food contact compliance in the FMCG industry or packaging or service (laboratory)
* Professional English knowledge is mandatory
* Excellent communication skills
* Proactive attitude and curiosity

**The position is based in Turin (Strada Settimo, 410)**
