SGAC is looking for an Executive Secretary Team Member

The SGAC is seeking one volunteer to join the Executive Secretary Team as a team member. This is an opportunity to learn about critical functions within SGAC, receive training and gain experience from the executive secretaries, and transition to the executive secretary position after one year.

## Responsibilities

The Executive Secretary team member tasks include:
* Supporting the executive secretaries with the management and improvement of the NPoC recruitment process
* Keeping track of NPoC and Regional Databases, in coordination with the Regional Secretaries, and Executive Secretaries.
* Documenting executive council meetings, General Assemblies and other meetings (taking minutes)
* Preparation of certificates of appointment, business cards and other requested documents for SGAC team members
* Responding to e-mail requests by team members

The Executive Secretary Team Member will work under the supervision of the Executive Secretaries.

**Estimated time commitment:** Estimated at an average 3 hours a week.

**Duration of the term:** 2 years.

**Note:** This is an unpaid volunteer position.

## Necessary Qualifications

* SGAC membership: registration on the SGAC website and below 33 years of age at the time of recruitment
* Ability to work in a fast paced, quick turnaround international environment and meet deadlines without compromising the quality of work
* Strong or competent working knowledge of computer applications and management apps (Google Apps, Microsoft Office Suite, GIMP/Photoshop)
* Excellent written English
* Speedy email response time
