## What does the role involve?
You will spend your time with us in our "Electric tools and accessories" development department, where you will be responsible for driving forward the conception, design, and development of complex components and assemblies for our diamond technology products in an international environment.
After an intensive onboarding period, you will assume responsibility for the development of innovative solutions from prototype to market introduction, considering economic, production and approval aspects. Development is carried out together with colleagues from other internal development departments (such as simulation, prototyping and testing), plants, suppliers, and worldwide partners.
You will be involved in the development methods and processes, take responsibility for technical and administrative tasks and thus be part of the overall product development process. You will prepare, present, and represent the results in management and steering meetings. In doing so, you will benefit from your strong communication skills across different hierarchy levels.
Last year alone, we launched around 60 new products on the market. This also includes new services and software.

## What you need is:
* Above-average degree in mechanical engineering or related disciplines
* 3D CAD knowledge - ideally Siemens NX
* Professional experience in product development or product testing in an industrial or academic setting
* Strong conceptual skills and willingness and courage to drive your ideas forward
* Great team spirit with excellent communication skills in an interdisciplinary and international environment
* Initial management experience is an advantage, e. g. through social engagement
* Fluent English, German language skills are an advantage
