**Position overview:**

The ideal candidate will demonstrate solid skill in performing both manual and automated testing. The individual should be comfortable conducting exploratory testing, cross-platform consistency, creating and executing test plans/test cases, and test scripts for automated testing. They should also have experience with the standard testing tools/frameworks and be able to identify and report bugs effectively. Additionally, the individual should be communicative and work well in a team environment. They should also be familiar with Agile methodologies and the software development life cycle.

**Responsibilities:**
* Perform exploratory testing by combining test design and execution.
* Verify consistency across multiple devices and platforms to ensure software compatibility.
* Create, document, and execute test cases to identify usability and performance issues.
* Develop test scripts that save time by automating repetitive tasks.
* Conduct automated/manual regression testing after each software update or release.
* Perform performance testing (such as load, stress, and spike testing) to evaluate software behavior under extreme conditions.
* Ability to clearly and accurately report bugs.
* Ability to determine when automated testing is necessary in addition to manual testing.

**Requirements :**
* QA Manually:
+ Knowledge of testing methodologies.
+ Proficiency in manual web/mobile/API/requirements testing.
+ Proficiency in browser testing tools (one or more):
o Xcode, Firefox, Chrome, Dev Console, Fiddler, or similar.
* QA automated tools experience:
+ Knowledge of programming languages: Python, Java, Javascript, Ruby, etc.
+ Knowledge of testing frameworks.
o Selenium is a plus.
o Other Examples, but not limited, are Robot Framework, Katalon Studio, Test Complete, SoapUI, IBM Rational Functional Tester, and Ranorex.
* Excellent verbal and written English communication.
* BA/BS degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
* At least 5 years of experience testing applications.

**Preferred qualifications:**
* Python or Javascript/Typescript programming experience.
* Experience with Gitlab.
* Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.

**Salary** : $4000 - $5500 USD (per month)
