Group/Division
The Customer Engagement (CE) team is our field based, customer facing organization consisting of Technical Engagement Managers and Application Engineers. The team partners closely with our customers to provide a comprehensive portfolio of products, software, and expertise, to help customers manage yield throughout their fabrication process-from research and development to final volume production. Responsibilities of this group include maintaining strategic client relationships, partnering with our sales team in identifying and closing sales opportunities, ensuring our products meet performance capabilities & expectations, providing critical solutions for improved yield performance, and collecting requirements for future products by understanding customer processes and technology trends. Partnering with our sales organization and factory divisions, this diverse and dynamic team helps ensure alignment between customer needs and product offerings to maintain a high level of customer
satisfaction.
Tasks:
* Worldwide support of international customers in the semiconductor industry for implementing wafer inspection devices for quality assurance, optimization and characterization of the production process
* Analysis of customer requirements
* Ensuring market penetration through deep understanding of customer problems
* Presentation of the measuring instruments, preparation of training courses as well as training of the customer in the operation of the inspection devices
* Customer advice in the application of measuring systems with the aim of the greatest possible added value
* Preparation of documentation on the application methods of the inspection devices
* Conducting demonstrations, evaluations and beta tests of new measuring instruments to support the sales process
* Presentation of the results to the customer
Qualifications:
* Successfully completed studies in the field of physics (condensed matter), semiconductor technology or a comparable field of study
* Professional experience in the semiconductor industry (defect & yield management) is highly desirable
* Excellent analytical problem-solving skills are required as well as the ability for creative approaches in order to be able to successfully meet customer requirements
* Very good presentation and communication skills should be available for professional dealings with international customers
* Business fluent German and very good English skills are mandatorylI
* Willingness to travel internationally
* Ability to drive projects successfully in autonomous manner
