WHO YOU ARE
In the summer of 2022, we will open a new parcel shipping centre for our customer orders that have been ordered either online or directly from an IKEA store. No matter how big or small the orders are, it is important that we work correctly and accurately to ensure an excellent customer experience.
To support us as an Warehouse Management System (WMS) Super user, you will bring the following with you:
* You should have proven and demonstrated competence/understanding of WMS.
* You get motivated from securing the operation with a well configured and maintained WMS.
* Good understanding of the warehouse running operations and processes or strong desire to learn fast.
* Energized by continuous learning and identifying opportunities for improvement
* Strong communicative skills in English and ability to develop relationships
* Good understanding of Analytical Tools (Excel, SQL)
* You have proven analytical skills and ability to understand different complex scenarios.
* You are a strong communicator and able to develop and maintain trustful relationships.
* You are self-driven, customer oriented and always striving to reach customer success.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role you are responsible for all warehouse management systems well configured and maintained to support operations. Furthermore you are responsible for the implementation for all kind of system enhancements in order to - increase efficiency, decrease operational costs, increase quality, smooth operational processes. And to coordinate the development of the WMS application and associated if necessary working methods in order to fulfil the business needs and user satisfaction.
* Responsible for providing WMS end users with actual and updated training, training materials and/or resources
* Detect if there are knowledge gaps and initiate training events if there is a need.
* Daily and ongoing support function towards local end users.
* Receive and follow up on Incidents and support requests from end users on a daily basis
* Support WMS testing, additions and regional projects
* Coordinate the WMS feedback from the site on Change request and offers
* Responsible to monitor system quality by verifying if the system is used and behave according to the standards and couple back their findings to WMS Responsible and local end users.
* Join global super user meeting' to share knowledge, meet and network with WMS Responsible and other super users
