Human Resources Coordinator

Location : Atlanta, United States


Position Summary

The HR Coordinator enhances employee engagement and satisfaction through onboarding excellence, seamless execution of HR administrative tasks, and supporting an environment that allows and encourages employees to do their best work.



Support employee engagement from onboarding to offboarding
* Coordinate a successful onboarding experience for new hires
+ Prepare offer letters and complete background checks
+ Set up employees in various systems and ensure new hire paperwork is completed and properly preserved
+ Coordinate onboarding meetings and activities
+ Project manage other onboarding contributors
+ Gather and prepare new hire bios for bimonthly announcements
+ Ensure new hires receive their company branded swag and business cards
o Manage inventory and order, when necessary
+ Present the HR Orientation meeting, as needed
* Help us celebrate team members' milestones and contributions
+ Gather handwritten notes for leader recognition, including anniversary plaques
+ Gather detail for promotion announcements
+ Communicate with managers on employee anniversaries
+ Send new baby gifts
+ Coordinate other recognition activities as necessary
* Ensure employees have access to important trainings
+ Track mandatory trainings and support employee completion
+ Manage the Rosetta Stone licenses
* Coordinate employee exits
+ Complete exit checklist activities
+ Prepare offboarding paperwork
* Answer employee questions and serve as the HR point of contact for Atlanta-based team members
* Coordinate on-site events such as volunteer and wellness opportunities
* Support special HR projects as requested
* Promote a strong, open, and innovative company culture

Ensure accuracy of employee data and prepare reports
* Update divisional org chart monthly
* Process address changes, employment verification, unemployment claims, and other related requests
* Manage HR data in the CRM; liaise with payroll department as necessary
* Run reports as requested by leadership; Format reports to ensure ease of reading
* Maintain HR folders in Shared drives and SharePoint

Collaborate with HR team members to identify and share best practices, support, or create new programs, and foster an HR culture of excellence.

Requirements / Profile

Your Key Qualities and Skills
* 3+ years of HR experience
* Knowledge of and continuous learning in employee engagement, employment law, employee relations, and project management
* Intermediate skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other MS suite tools
* An excellent communicator: explains complicated concepts simply and clearly
* Approachable, open and visible. A relationship builder who is perceptive and listens. Shows high emotional intelligence.
* Positive, resilient, reliable, dependable, flexible, credible, diplomatic, action-oriented, customer-focused, detail oriented, manages conflict, and manages priorities
* Exposure to fast paced, growth environments with an intrapreneurial spirit
* Appreciation and experience thriving in a multi-cultural work environment
* Preferred:
+ Experience working in a highly matrixed organization
+ Experience working with an HRIS and other HR cloud-based tools
