As Patient Management Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for the operational deployment and maintenance of Medtronic's RM solutions in hospitals and cardiology practices. RM solutions refers to the Medtronic Smart Sync Device Manager (Medtronic's new tablet-based solution for interrogating and programming Medtronic cardiac implantable devices) and Medtronic's remote patient management solutions (Platforms and services such as Medtronic CareLink, CareLink Express, FocusOn, BeConnected, Discovery Link, Triage HF, Mainspring data export).

You will work in close collaboration with the local CRM Country Field organization at customer sites in Austria and in the German-speaking part of Switzerland to deliver deployment support for the IT components of the mentioned systems. You will connect with Customer IT Stakeholders in Hospitals and in cardiology practices and align on implementation, connectivity testing, deployment and customer training. You will manage post- deployment software and connectivity maintenance. In partnership with Customer Hospital IT and key stakeholders, you will define account workflows to enable the smooth transition and adoption of RM solutions at customer sites.

You will execute on local business plans, coordinated with the country Operational Units and Patient Management function, to achieve full target account deployment of the RM solutions.

A day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following:
* Connect and build partnership with: local country field teams in CH/AT, with the western European patient management organization and the western European IT deployment team.
* Build relationships with target accounts, understand their needs and priorities and collaborate with local field team to identify new Business opportunities
* Connect with IT Stakeholders in the Hospitals, build relationships with target accounts, understand their needs and priorities, clarify and overcome any technical issues and create a plan for implementation with MDT Field team
* Implement RM solutions (hardware, SW, connectivity, and integration into customer workflow) at customer site
* Identify deployment barriers, propose hardware/software workarounds, deploy adapted solutions on customer sites
* Validate the installed RM solutions: connectivity test, printing test, data sharing test, etc
* Deliver face-to-face user trainings on customer site
* Track deployment process in relevant CRM systems
* Develop workflows for efficient post-deployment maintenance of RM solutions (customer self-maintenance trainings, software update deployment, troubleshooting, customer notifications on platform upgrade, end-of-lease replacement process, etc.
* Provide post-deployment support
* Supply chain management: orders, invoices, returns, buffer stock
* Asset tracking (tablet locations, software status tracking, RM account tracking)
* Implement invoicing pathway for RM solutions on customer level
* Facilitate contracting/GDPR and data security negotiations for RM solutions
* Support Customer IT stakeholders with ad hoc questions
* Support field teams with transmission troubleshooting at patient's home
* Act as subject matter expert for country field teams
* Work closely with SHQ & Country Field Team to drive account plans toward set targets
* Collaborate with W.E. colleagues to enable knowledge sharing across regions

Must Have: Minimum Requirements
* 3 years of experience in a technical implementation or technical field Support role, ideally with experience working within a healthcare/ hospital environment
* Technical education background
* Project ownership skills
* Training experience with non-technical & technical Customers
* Good common understanding of IT Infrastructure, Security and Data Privacy requirements in a regulated environment
* Self-starter, 'can do' attitude, independent
* Effective communication and presentation skills
* Strong client focus
* Skilled at coordinating activities between different stakeholders and different business units
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills including ability to work through details
* Ability to develop and foster business relationships with continuously changing stakeholder groups inside key customers' organizations
* Proficient with MS office tools, experience with CRM systems
* Fluency in German and English
* Effective time management and prioritization management
* Availability to travel 75 % of time

Nice to Have
* Track record of experience delivering or supporting IT Infrastructure in Hospitals
* French/Italian are a plus
* Experience as an IT Consultant and/or Pre-sales
* Experience using Service Support platforms

Target income - depending on seniority level and responsibility, minimum Euro 30,000 with the willingness for overpayment in line with the market - depending on professional experience.
