Position Summary:
The Sales Executive is co-responsible for, but not limited to, hotel total revenue and quality targets. The Sales Executive supports the Director of Marketing and Commerce in establishing the resort within local and international markets and securing transient, group and banqueting business for long lasting relationships with key agents and clients. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Supports Company philosophy and company culture daily to ensure Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of Mission Statement.
+ Analyzes local market trends and develop new business leads.
+ Handles qualify, proposal and follow up of transient, group and banqueting enquiries and actively engages with clients to maximize conversion.
+ Ensures a sales approach in every lead, customizing proposals and ensuring that a luxury and positive attitude is always guaranteed.
+ Participates in external sales appointments, sales trips and tradeshows when appropriate and relevant for every market segment.
+ Conducts property site visits.
+ Demonstrates proactivity to bring back former clients and acquire new ones.
+ Follows internal financial policies, manages and verifies client payments and outstanding balances.
+ Uses systems to pull out reports and analyzes figures and data consistently.
+ Enriches existing database, ensuring time efficiency and data accuracy as per Company policies.
+ Attends daily departmental meetings.
+ Meets the objectives as set by the Company.
+ Communicates and cooperates with all departments as required across the hotel and the whole Company.
+ Follows company grooming policies.
Specific Requirements:
+ Fluent in English and Italian. Other languages are a plus.
+ Creative thinking and bespoke approach to client requests and needs.
+ Strong time management skills.
+ Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Package.
+ Charming and dynamic approach to clients and colleagues.
+ Problem solving attitude and consistent teamwork approach.
+ Strong presentation skills.
+ Energetic, dynamic and enthusiastic.
+ Available to flexible hours.
+ Available to travel (local and international).
