Patient Safety Specialist (m/f/d), GDD Regulatory Affairs, Vienna, Austria

7! This is the number of associates who are currently working within our Patient Safety Team. The Patient Safety Specialist supports the management of vigilance operational processes at Country Organization in ensuring compliance with Novartis global/local procedures, national and international regulations/standards/guidelines for pharmacovigilance of Novartis marketed and investigational products.

Your Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Managing collection, processing, documentation, reporting and follow-up of all adverse event reports for all Novartis products from clinical trials, and all adverse events from Patient Orientated Programs, post-marketing studies (PMS), registries and all Spontaneous Reports (SR)
* Managing the safety part of Social Media Activities and other Digital Assets* Aim for five bullet points
* Establishing and maintaining safety agreements with partners and vendors
* Interacting and exchanging relevant safety information with national HA, other Patient Safety associates, other functional groups and third party contractors, if applicable
* Developing, updating and implementing local procedures to ensure compliance with global procedures and national requirements

Minimum requirements

What you'll bring to the role:
* A degree in medicine, pharmacy, health discipline or life sciences
* Knowledge of national and international regulations for pharmacovigilance
* Knowledge of pharmacological and medical terminology
* Excellent communications, interpersonal and negotiation skills
* Quality and focus oriented
* Fluent in English and German
