Contribute to our success by:

The Business Development Manager (short: BDM) is a kind of hybrid of sales and engineering. BDM is thus both "a salesperson that understands and can apply solution engineering" and "an engineer that understands how to sell engineered software solutions". BDM primarily provides advice and support to internal and external customers. Activities/Responsibilities:

* BDM is the CGM Clinical HIS solution expert on the customer side, knows the add value of the solutions and is able to convince customers in every detail of the medical information system
* BDM collaborates with Sales, Product Managers, Business Development Managers and Value Add Product Managers to ensure proposed deals including technical/processual solutions that accurately address customer needs
* While Product Managers focus on the business of the product, the BDM is a domain specialist (physician, nurse or other relevant clinical background), speaks the language of our customers and is a face to the customer
* BDM leads customer-specific presentations, product demonstrations, technical presentations and works with decision makers
* BDM provides sales support with international customer contact in the health care domain
* BDM supports tenders including drafting technical solution specifications and offer documents, customer value descriptions, calculations, feasibility studies and risk assessments and develops a structured knowledge base and learning curve
* BDM trains and supports the sales team in the development and production of sales kits and is participating in the creation of successful sales/capture strategies
* BDM is an active initiator and participant in M&A

What we expect:

The BDM must have excellent communication and presentation skills combined with a technically understanding of CGM products to build upon and exceed customer and company goals.

* Must be domain experts (physician, nurse or other clinical background)
* Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of experts
* Ability to travel approximately 50% - 70%
* Fluent English
