As our Regional WoodWorks Sales Representative, you will interact with other sales representatives, architects, contractors, distributors, and facility managers to influence the specification and purchase or Armstrong WoodWorks commercial ceiling and wall systems across the southeast United States.

What you'll be doing:
* Creating meaningful relationships with sales representatives, architects, owners, and contractors
* Facilitating communication and coordination between US sales force and employees to improve the team's ability to make high-quality decisions for winning projects
* Tracking new construction and renovation projects in the Americas through the construction process to covert specifications to orders for WoodWorks product categories
* Functioning effectively as a member of a passionate selling team to achieve individual, team, and business goals for WoodWorks, and assigned product categories within Architectural Specialties
* Coordinating with AS Sales Managers, and all other AWI Sales Reps to assure alignment of job specification, tracking and closing activity
* Impacting the specification and purchase of Armstrong Building Products lines
* Creating customer value and competitive advantage to use our products by specifying, tracking in SFDC, and closing jobs within the assigned territory
* Achieving territory goals in sales volume, mix, new products and pricing
* Guiding people who make buying/selling decisions and have a positive effect on others
* Assisting architects/designers in writing specifications for Armstrong commercial ceilings, roof deck and wall systems with an emphasis on gaining competitive advantage
* Developing productive relationships with key contractors
* Participating in Job Follow-Up Meetings with Armstrong team members, direct contractors, and distributors to track close projects using Armstrong products
* Growing the business and increasing/maintaining market share by creating customer value and competitive advantages
* Integrating into formal sales career progression process that requires sales effectiveness

What will make you successful:
* 3+ years of sales experience
* Bachelors Degree in Business, Construction Management, Architecture, Interior Design or other related field; OR 5+ years of sales experience
* Experience as part of a specification sales team
* Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple relationships and priorities
* Demonstrated ability to plan effectively, short- and long-term
* Working knowledge of construction, contracting, specification sales, market segments and customers
* Team player/leader who is motivated to achieve their own targets but is also an effective role model for accomplishing team goals
* Proficiency in working with computer software such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Windows applications

Preferred qualifications:
* Commercial building product sales experience, preferably in interior product finishes
* Demonstrated experience/success in architectural selling
* Architectural background and understanding

About the Location (Marshfield, MO)

Architectural Components Group, Inc. (ACGI), a subsidiary of Armstrong World Industries, Inc. (AWI), is one of twelve AWI plants in North America. Our Marshfield plant in south western Missouri is conveniently located within 3 hours to large cities such as Tulsa, Kansas City, and St. Louis as well as within 30 minutes to the smaller city of Springfield. However, it's rural attributes serve to also attract outdoorsmen and nature enthusiasts. Eight large lakes are within an hour's drive, two smaller lakes are within 30 minutes. All offer an array of outdoor opportunities including fishing, boating, skiing, and sailing. Hiking, biking, wildlife areas, streams, and other river opportunities are within a short drive including the Niangua and Compton Hollow Conservation Areas just outside of Marshfield's city limits.
