JOB CONTEXT:
The Safety and Environment Coordinator supports the implementation of the Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) pillar, local occupational health & safety standards, global safety standards, guidelines and local procedures and build a solid and functional relationship with management and all departments

This achievement of these objectives is paramount while ensuring the protection of all employees including those working under our direct supervision in our commercial activities, contractors, visitors and neighbors by providing a safe working environment and implementing safe ways of working systems and procedures.

The candidate has the authority to Stop any activities with high risk

JOB PURPOSE:
To support and drive the safety culture in an effort to achieving zero (0) accidents for all Red Stripe operations. This includes projects related to the brewery and supporting the standardization of safety rules and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Building a robust system where safety is a way or working

Drive safety improvements Implementing the tools and methods that support continuous improvement and improving safety culture.

Implement safety standards for all areas of the Brewery specific per machine/process and projects

Execute training plan for safety and 5s 70-20-10 model for both employees and contractors

Ensures that PPE are readily available, used correctly and Stored properly

Drives Safety Toolbox sessions across functions and follow up

Support LOTO implementation in the shop floor

Ensure that contracted work is executed safety and audits job site

Execute visual management in the brewery

Support roll out of safety audits and BBs

Support the safety pillar action plan

Support Operational Risk Reduction (ORR )and Management of Change (MOC)

Support machine safety and process safety

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
2 - 5 years relevant experience in all aspects of safety.
* LOTO & Machine Safety
* Safety in construction-includes excavation
* Accident, incident, near miss analysis
* Electrical risks
* Chemical risks
* Explosion risks- ATEX
* Confined spaces
* NH3,CO2 risks
* Process safety
* Logistics risks
* Working in height
* Behavioral Based Safety
* Risks assessments
* Management of change
