Understand the business strategies and identify opportunities to improve organizational capability.
Drive cultural change to align the organization with the strategy. Diagnose gaps between current and desired status and deploy actions to fill the gap.
Assess and select top talent in a timely manner, partnering with Talent acquisition and hiring managers.
Manage employee relations for the organization country interacting with works councils, ensuring effective deployment of Eaton ER strategy whilst working with local employment law and collective agreements.
Ensure that performance management practices are fully integrated and that the processes are completed to raise the performance bar.
Provide advanced coaching, consulting and facilitation to functional leaders.
Provide guidance and direction on complex business and HR issues.
Advocate employee communication processes that inform employees and ensures meaningful two way communication.
Administer compensation programs to assure competitive pay practices through systems that reward superior employee performance whilst working within the framework required by local employment law.
Integrate and support all Eaton established processes, such as organizational development, employee surveys, Eaton Philosophy at Work Practices, APEX – employee performance process.
Ensure that all sites are in compliance with legal requirements and with Eaton programs, policies, organizational practices and Eaton philosophy and values.
Ensure high quality service delivery, administers HR processes, including personal administration.
Support Environmental, Safety and Health Activities in Austria
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)
University degree in Human Resources, Labor Law or business related area
Minimum 5+ years’ HR experience – preferably in an operational position in a international company
Experiences in Multinational company (Matrix organization)
Strong functional HR knowledge with project management and coaching skills
Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
Knowledge of Austrian Labour Law is required
Knowledge of Swiss Labour Law is beneficial
Strong self-motivation and flexibility
IT skills (MS Office, ideally SAP and/or Oracle)
Fluent in German and English
