The incumbent of position is responsible for leading the Marketing operations, activities and initiatives for Eaton’s Electrical Sector in Austria. Responsible for driving profitable, growth-oriented marketing programs and development activity for all Electrical Sector industry segments and product lines in close cooperation with the sales organization and relevant Business Unit leaders, division marketing managers as well as the ES EMEA Central Marketing to drive activity and success. In addition he/she will be the commercial building segment manager with the responsibility for working with the sales organization and regional segment managers to drive profitable growth through integrated market development activities targeting end customers and partners in the segment.
Lead the Austria marketing organization be able to deploy the marketing activities focus on product offers, segments, channel/partner program and marcom activities.
Responsible for directing the development of an integrated Marketing plan for the Austria region aligned to the regional Central Marketing plan and supporting local growth initiatives targeting customers in key industry segments
Work with the Austria sales manager to build a strategy and with sales organization to support shift from product-centric outreach to integrated market segment activities
Drive segment organization in Austria to deploy and implement the 360 segment approach for the targeted segments, in alignment with the EMEA segments managers
Drive the definition of the PTW strategy for commercial building segment in Austria and follow the deployment and implementation.
Contribute to definition of season topics and develop the season topics in local markets.
Build and implement an integrate commercial building segment actions plan.
Support the implementation of the channel partner program with channel teams
Build on persona development work to implement an integrated inbound marketing contact/ enquiry management process that aligns with EMEA strategy and processes and oversee lead management processes across the sales and marketing function to ensure lead dissemination, routing and management is handled in the most efficient and effective way
Drive the Austria region content marketing and PR strategy, working closely with the EMEA marketing communications team, to raise awareness of Eaton with targeted customers, tying legacy brands and products together into a one-Eaton offering, integrated within the company’s segment approach
Implement pricing actions and process to be able of monitor, decide and act on local price policy.
Establish a close relationship with the EMEA channel marketing organization to develop channel-centric activities in Austria that will support channel revenue growth
Manage the marketing budget process for Austria.
Coordinate sales participation at industry events and Eaton Tech Days, feedback on sales support requirements, lead follow-up and ROI. Ensure centrally selected suppliers, materials are used locally.
Lead the marketing team in Austria (currently 2 headcounts).
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)
Minimum B.Sc. or B.A. degree in marketing, journalism, communications, business, engineering or related fields
Minimum 5 years marketing and/or communications experiences
Strong knowledge of the commercial building segment, at least 5 years of experience.
Strong experience in partner program management, digital marketing, lead generation and ROI responsibility highly desired
Experience in working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, matrixed environment
Proven track record in creative project planning, project management and working under deadlines
Initiative, organizational skills, and proven leadership
Creative approach to problem solving
Superior written communications skills and messaging
Fluent German and English language skills
